Before joining Full Spectrum Realty, Marshal Dooley spent thirteen years working in the Texas Legislature, and over two years in the automotive industry. Beginning his career in 1998, Dooley worked three sessions in the Texas House of Representatives, two with Speaker Pete Laney and one with Representative Pete Gallego. During his time working in the House, Dooley not only cultivated numerous relationships with staff members and elected officials, but he also learned how to work with lobbyists and stakeholders on drafting and passing legislation.
After three sessions in the House, Dooley moved to the State Comptroller's Office where he worked two regular sessions and three special sessions under Comptrollers Carole Keeton Strayhorn and Susan Combs. During his time with this office, Dooley was responsible for representing the Comptroller's agenda in front of the Legislature. In 2009, Dooley joined the staff of Senator Wendy Davis where he continued to work on policy matters affecting the State of Texas.
In 2011, Dooley left state government and went to work as the finance manager for an Austin car dealership. During his time in this industry, he evaluated credit applications and served as the underwriter for the company. Although a native of Dallas, Texas, Dooley has lived in Austin since 1996 and considers it home. He has a bachelor's degree in Government from The University of Texas and is a member of the National Association of Realtors and Austin Board of Realtors.
